How trailers should be
In: Blog, Things I likePosted on: February 27, 2011
When I’m on my way to the movie theater, I always try to be on time only because I want to get a good seat. I couldn’t care less about missing the trailers. While I like knowing what about upcoming movies, I hate most movie trailers. Far too often they are just the entire movie consolidated into several minutes and make actually watching the movie a pointless endeavor. Today I watched the trailer for The Tree of Life. It was wonderful, more about setting a tone for the movie rather than a summary of the plot. I wish more trailers were like this one.
